Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of the television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December, 1976. Within a short time, she moved to Texas and completed her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. There she played various roles ranging in local independent films as well as international commercials. Despite the small parts she soon discovered her love for acting. Following her move from New York, in 2001 she was offered her first role as an actor on All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she played small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was on the short-lived 2004 drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her performance in the show, including Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko and was also the the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. After just two episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is a Italian father, as well as one brother Cory which is a years younger than her. Her family was very strict and spiritual one. Milano was seven years older when her babysitter took Milano to an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1000 applicants. Milano was chosen as one of only four girls. Milano was featured in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
